My Yoga

$45.00

My transition from dancer to yogi was immediate.

A friend invited me to my first hot yoga class and I let the deep heat enveloped me.

I felt warm and grounded in ways my cold and exhausted body had never let me feel before.

I knew instantly that I had to make room for this in my life.

The sequence is always the same.

Yet I'm the one who changes.

My spine, my energy, my thoughts.

I've cried on my yoga mat.

And I've been impatient.

I've been grateful.

And I've been humbled.

Sometimes I crawl into class depleted but somehow leave clear-headed and strong.

My yoga showed me I could respect my body even if it was disappointing me.

And all I ever had to do was keep showing up.

Digital reproduction of original artwork by Emily Knabb.

Image size 8in x 10in. Matted to 11in x 14in.

Standard sizes make it easy to pop right into a frame and up onto your wall in no time.

Summer, I can almost feel you. ☀️
No more hall passes.
No more missing pencils.
Just me, coffee, and a paintbrush. 🎨

After nine months of teenage chaos.
Misplaced masterpieces.
And life advice I probably wasn’t qualified to give...

And life advice I probably wasn’t qualified to give... I'll be officially clocking out of the classroom and checking into summer. I’m swapping lesson plans for studio days. Sun-soaked art shows. Mark your calendars—Verona Park, here I come! 🖼🌳 I’m kicking off my outdoor art show season in one of the most scenic spots around: a lakeside park filled with trees, walking paths, and plenty of space to soak in the spring air. This show is the kind you wander. The kind where you meet the artists, feel the stories in their work, and maybe—just maybe—find something that was waiting for you. I’ll be there all weekend with my newest collection in tow—freshly framed and ready for new eyes. So if you’re nearby (or up for a little road trip), come stroll, say hello, and support the makers. I appreciate you! 🗓 May 17–18, 10am–5pm 📍 Verona Park – 475 Bloomfield Ave, Verona, NJ 🎨 Booth 201 🎨 Show Info: https://rosesquared.com/verona-park/artists/ Hope to see you there! @rosesquared #watercolor #artshow #finecraft #rosesquared #rosesquaredartshows #essexcountyNJ #njart #njartassociation #bloomfieldnj #healinghands
You know that feeling.

When you're unsure how things will work out.

And a bit of sunshine helps.

Somehow, it just makes everything feel a little more possible.

So stay close.

As close as you possibly can.

To the people who feel like sunshine.
